Benign Fasciculations

So finally got around to achieving a lifetime ambition and released my first EP. I acknowledge it’s not top notch studio quality, but it is all my own. Certainly a learning experience. My first mistake was to release it as Hunter. I did google that name and check it on Spotify and I swear nothing came up. However, by the time I released it I discovered the Polish metal band, and to all intents and purposes it looked like they had produced my EP. Must have confused their fans no end as I would say we occupy very different niches of the music market. Sorry Hunter. I’ve now taken that version down but you wouldn’t believe the publishing rules I had to negotiate just to change my artist name. Anyway, thanks to the team at Tunecore for helping me through that. One upshot is that Spotify did start playing me Polish alternative pop of which some is pretty good. Made me realise yet again that there are some amazing tracks out there that will never really be heard or appreciated by the masses. Such a shame when in my opinion most of the stuff that surfaces on the radio is a homogenous mess of well produced mediocrity.

Anyway, I hope you like the album. I’ll expand a bit on the title and individual tracks in future posts. I’m also still trying to collaborate with other members of Nono’s Dog the band, and they do seem to have finally stepped up to help me! Thanks Dogs. So all being well should be able to release a few singles in the next few months.
