Inktober 12

So this was far from an original idea. Instagram is full of Inktober 20 bananas. I think this also deviates quite a bit from the ink ethos. It’s more like Digitalartober or Illustratober. However, I’m really pleased with this image. I made the yellow of the skin a bit too pale so for the first time I decided to play around with correction layers. I’ve altered the hue, saturation, luminosity, contrast, brightness and posteriorisation. It really makes the image pop. The problem with this level of manipulation is that it’s almost impossible to know when to stop! I like this so much it’s going in the store. Happy to do it at alternative sizes on request.
