Jack of Ravens

An unashamed self portrait. Got into archery the summer before lockdown. Its the perfect exercise to switch off the brain and just zone in on technique. It’s a lot like art in that respect. Really pleased with how my art has come on since I started doing these cards. The background here was very satisfactory. It required the full arsenal of digital art techniques including dropping a few textures in there. The shadow didn’t quite look right until I dropped a Gaussian blur on it. Still need to work on my faces but getting there. Expect a few more archers in the pack!
